Smooth and soften scarring
Dramatically reduce scarring on all areas of the body and on all skin types.
Scarring is the result of an injury or trauma to the skin, and some scars can restrict movement, cause embarrassment or affect confidence.
Scarring type, location on the body and genetic and lifestyle factors are all taken into consideration during consultations. At Oasis Wellbeing Clinic we off a few different treatments for scarring and together, a personalised treatment plan will be identified to meet your needs perfectly.

CO2 Fractional Laser Treatments
CO2 Laser treatments require some downtime, but the results do not compromise. One of the most effective treatments for scarring.
CO2 lasers emits a beam of Carbon Dioxide laser light that is absorbed by water molecules within the targeted skin tissue. The energy from the laser light heats up and vaporizes the water in the cells causing the cells to break apart.
Resulting in
- epidermal ablation: the removal of a fraction of the outermost layer of the skin, achieving resurfacing of the skin.
- thermal energy delivery: which stimulates the production of collagen, a protein that helps maintain skin’s firmness and elasticity.
Co2 laser treatments are commonly used to resurface and rejuvenate acne scarring, surgical scars, self harm scars and more.
Full Face rejuvenation or resurfacing of scarring: £250 per treatment
Scar reduction on a small area (for example cheeks): £150 per treatment
Scar Reduction on a large area (for example tummy stretch marks): £300 per treatment

Microneedling & Mesotherapy for Scarring
Scar tissue presents as thick bundles of scar collagen, causing uneven skin. Microneedling produces controlled micro-injuries which lead to minimal superficial bleeding and set up a wound-healing cascade with the release of various growth factors. The needles also breakdown the old hardened scar strands and allow it to re vascularise, promoting smooth, ‘ideal’ lattice network of collagen and a reduced appearance of scarring.
Oasis Wellbeing Clinic can combine the Stretch-M mesoceutical by HIKARI in conjunction with microneedling treatments, designed specifically to reduce scarring.
Stretch-M increases the production of collagen and elastin, with peptides to ensure the collagen is unified in length and diameter, and to encourage rejuvenation of the intercellular matrix, and encourage healing post-injury.
This treatment can be performed every 4-6 weeks.
Downtime: redness and some flaking for a few days.

Microneedling can be used in conjunction with this treatment for the best results.
This peel must be built up to and must be used in conjunction with appropriate skin care, find out more here.
Downtime: may include up to 7 days of dry skin.
