Offering a scientific approach to skin health

Improve the appearance of your skin.
Chemical peels exfoliate the outer layers of skin through a process called chemexfoliation. A peeling agent is applied onto the skin, which instigates a controlled burn.
This process initiates the wound-healing cascade, activating the collagen remodelling process, which facilitates skin rejuvenation.
Chemical peels give your skin a more youthful appearance by
- decreasing the quantity and depth of wrinkles,
- by reducing acne scarring,
- by reducing inflammatory and non-inflammatory acne lesions,
- and by reducing pigmentation.
What do chemical peels treat?

1. Treatment information
Chemical peel treatments take between 30-60minutes.
Some peels can be performed every 2 weeks, whereas deeper peels should be performed every 6 weeks.
There are many peel combinations that can be performed; during your free consultation we can discuss which treatment is best for your skin.
2. Downtime
Chemical peels are easily tolerated. Some irritation or itchiness may be felt.
Deeper peels (scarring and photodamage/melasma treatments) may feel warm and sting a little.
There is little to no downtime associated with gentle peels, however deeper peels may leave the skin dry and flaky for a few days.
3. Suitability
Treatment is not suitable for clients:
- with an active sun tan, or those who have recently had sunburn

Get the best out of your peel with prep!
Your skin deserves the best chance, and preparing your stratum corneum prior to peels will deliver the best results. With correct preparation with our products, your chemical peel will penetrate deeper, and reduce the likelihood of hyperpigmentation by suppressing the melanocyte production. This will improve the skin quality overall, reduce skin sensitivity, regulate your skins keratinocytes and melanocytes AND makes your results longer lasting.
