Meet the Staff

Want to find out more information about the staff at Oasis Wellbeing Clinic? You’re in the right place.

Find out about our passion, qualifications and treatments offered below.

Aesthetic Practitioner- Rachel

I’m Rachel, one of the laser and skin aestheticians at Oasis Wellbeing Clinic. My passion is helping you love the skin you’re in!

My personal skin journey began in my young adult life when I started struggling with resistant acne. I tried endless lotions, prescription creams, antibiotics, and isotretinoin—if it was available, I tried it! The impact on my quality of life was significant, with my anxiety and stress levels rising with each breakout. Thankfully, I found a treatment regimen that offers me relief from my problematic skin.

Through my acne journey, I developed a deep interest in skin and the conditions that affect it, recognizing the profound impact our skin has on our confidence. Personal experience taught me how skin issues can prevent us from meeting new people, trying new experiences, and loving ourselves. I wanted to help others overcome these challenges.

I began my aesthetics journey with LASER and IPL training, earning my Level 4 Laser and Light qualification in 2015. Since then, I’ve pursued additional training in micro-needling, plasma fibroblast, mesotherapy, chemical peels, skincare, electrolysis, and CO2 Lasers. To date, I’ve completed over 20 courses on all things skin-related, and yet I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface—or should I say epidermis groan.

I love learning about new aesthetic treatments and scientific advancements. Exploring new services, acquiring new skills, and researching the physiological hows and whys of treatment responses excites me.

When I meet new clients, my mantra is, “What are they uncomfortable with, and how can I help?” Whether it’s female facial hair causing anxiety, folliculitis causing pain, rosacea causing irritation, or aging skin causing distress, my goal is to provide relief and support.

It’s not about vanity; it’s about people feeling comfortable in their own skin.

My job fulfils my passion for using the latest technology, achieving the satisfaction of a job well done, and most importantly, helping and supporting people in distress.

Aesthetic Practitioner- Carol

Hey there!

Whether you are new to skincare and exploring the wonders of laser treatments, or if I’m helping you continue your laser journey, I’m thrilled to be your laser and skin aesthetician!

I’ve always had a passion for the health and beauty industry, and I spent 20 years managing, and opening high end Health Spas for the likes of Richard Branson, Virgin, and Nuffield Health.

About 10 years ago, I received the opportunity to train in the laser industry. With the need for a less full-time role, and hours that I could work around my young family, I sidestepped back into the world of performing aesthetics and beauty treatments.

Working with clients gives me a great sense of satisfaction. I love helping my clients understand their skin and feel comfortable and secure in the treatment they are receiving. Having Laser and IPL treatments can be a scary experience for many, and supporting clients through that, drives me to do my job to the best of my ability.

I have always been intrigued by the incredible results laser technology can provide and I thrive on achieving the best results for my clients, and the profound impact these treatments can have on people’s lives. I find immense fulfilment in being able to make a positive difference to my client’s skin issues, whether that is helping someone regain their confidence through laser hair removal, or skin care for rosacea reduction.

At the core of everything I do are integrity, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to my clients’ well-being. I believe in taking a personalised approach, listening to my client’s individual’s needs and concerns, ensuring that every treatment is not only effective but also safe and tailored to achieve the best possible results.

When I’m not busy zapping away unwanted hair or revitalising skin, you can often find me exploring nature trails in the Lake District with my family.

Thank you for stopping by and getting to know me a little better. I can’t wait to connect with each and every one of you and help you achieve your skincare goals!

Berni - Fylde Electrolysis & Massage

Hello, I’m Berni (she/her)

I provide Electrolysis Hair Removal and Swedish Massage Therapy.

Professionally, my life includes over 20 years in the hair and beauty industry, both as a technician/therapist and educator. My personal drive is my keen interest in enabling and encouraging others to embrace a strong sense of confidence and acceptance in themselves both on the inside and out. To be able to play a part in providing opportunity, guidance or support to you and others is a privilege that I always feel honoured to undertake…

Electrolysis Hair Removal is a medically approved safe, progressive, method of removing unwanted hair permanently. It is the only method of permanent hair removal that is recognised by the British Medical Association.

Electrolysis works by disrupting hair growth. This involves a very fine probe being inserted into the hair follicle where energy in the form of heat (and sometimes controlled current) is released directly to the root and its blood supply.

Electrolysis is suitable for most people, all genders, skin types and hair colours, including grey/white.

I look forward to meeting and getting to know you should you wish to enquire further or arrange a consultation to begin your electrolysis journey to a more confident you!

In our busier-than-ever lives, the need to take some time out for ourselves has never been more important. It’s easy to lose sight of our self-care so why not take a look at the range of massages I offer to help unwind, de-stress, and re-set.

Reconnect with yourself, and book a massage experience individually adapted to meet your mood and needs.

Qualified Counsellor - Lee

Hello, my name is Lee, I provide a confidential and safe environment to enable us to explore the issues that you bring, without judgment, through a warm and compassionate approach.

The sessions will be underpinned by a strong ethical practice in line with the BACP code of ethics. I work with people who bring a range of problems like loss and bereavement to anxiety, depression, PTSD, Trauma-related issues, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and family/relationship concerns to name a few. I also work with individuals who wish to gain awareness and develop themselves by exploring their own self-care and resilience techniques.

I am qualified in Person Centred Therapy and Trauma CBT, ( Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) National Accredited Peer Supporter, and a member of the BACP ( British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
I offer an initial 20-minute meeting which is free of charge. Here you can come and share what has brought you to therapy and we can see if working together feels right.
Talking to a counsellor who is removed from the situation, with no emotional involvement, means you can begin your story at whichever starting point you choose.  Counselling can help focus on what the problem is and what it is like for you to be experiencing it.  With increased awareness comes the possibilities of self-acceptance and doing something to change your situation if that is what you wish to do.

Please feel free to get in contact.

Lip Blush Tattooing

My name is Catherine, and I offer lip blush tattooing.

Despite a background as a primary school teacher/lab technician/local government administrator (I could go on…), permanent makeup (PMU) better reflects my lifelong interests in both art and makeup/beauty, and I am excited to share the benefits of lip blush with new clients.

Lip blush is a versatile treatment, where either a sheer or HD effect can be produced, with a range of pigments that can be mixed to create a custom shade. The result is long-lasting, smudge-proof, waterproof ‘lipstick’. Like any PMU, it is a treatment that is not only a daily time-saver, but a confidence booster. Top-ups are required after 12-24 months in most cases, depending on individual factors and lifestyle.

In addition to lip blush, my plan is to offer other forms of PMU and micropigmentation in the near future. I look forward to meeting you!

Please email me at info@lipsink.co.uk for more information. x
