Acne can cause stress, anxiety and distress.
Acne Treatments
A surprising number of people suffer from acne at some stage in their life. For some it is a passing teenage phase. However, for others, it can be a prolonged and distressing experience.
If acne is affecting your self esteem, don’t worry! Oasis Wellbeing Clinic can help restore your confidence.
We have a number of acne treatments to reduce breakouts and remodel acne scarring.
Acne Skin
Acne prone skin generally:
- Produces too much sebum
- The excess sebum and dead skin cells block pores
- Creating a perfect environment for bacteria to breed
- Propionibacterium (acne bacteria) creates an infected pustule
Therefore, treatments should focus on rectifying these problems.
What treatments are available?
Laser treatments and Chemical Peels can reduce the number of breakouts experienced by changing the amount of sebum and dead skin cells in the problem area, thus reducing the environment in which acne bacteria flourishes.
Microneedling reduces sebum production and Mesotherapy can help ance scarring left from previous breakouts.
Home Skin Care is essential to reduce sebum production and promote the continual reduction of acne between treatments.
Synergistic treatments.
Synergistic treatments combine multiple services to achieve the best results.
These results were achieved using a combination of our acne peel, mesotherapy and microneedling.
Blemiderm Treatments

Chemical Peels for Acne
Our acne peel has a unique antibiotic and anti-inflammatory action, containing Mandelic Acid which inhibits the growth of the bacteria responsible for acne, reduces sebum production and purges hair follicles of dead skin cells, targeting 3 of the main causes of acne. The addition of Retinaldehyde helps to remodel the skin and improve damaged skin following the trauma of previous breakouts.
An optional application of Pyruvic Acid onto problem areas can help clear lesions faster due to its’ anti-microbial action.
This treatment can be performed every 3 weeks.
Downtime: dry skin for up to 5 days.

- Decreases sebum production
- Reduces blockages in pores

- Kill propionibacterium

Microneedling for Acne
Microneedling causes thousands of micro-injuries in the skin which reset and reboot the skins’ cellular function. This tricks the skin into normalising the sebaceous glands’ function, stopping overactive sebum production, which reduces the number of outbreaks of acne.
Acne scarring can also present a problem after acne breakouts, fortunately, we are able to offer mesotherapy products in conjunction with microneedling treatments, designed specifically to treat acne scarring. Find out more about scar reduction treatments here.
This treatment can be performed every 4-8 weeks.
Microneedling mesotherapy can leave redness lasting 24 hours, and bronzing and flaking for up to 3 days.
