Lift and Tone the skin
Benefits of LED Light Therapy
Our skin contains many sensory receptors – some respond to touch, some respond to the various colours of light. LED light therapy uses a sufficiently powered light designed to penetrate deep into the skin, allowing the colours to interact with skin cells for the desired effect:
The selection of colour(s) will be discussed with your therapist prior to your treatment and tailored to your needs, e.g. green light to hydrate a dry forehead, nose & chin, and red light to penetrate wrinkles around the eyes and stimulate collagen and elastin production.
Red LED
Red – increases collagen & elastic production for more youthful, tighter skin
Blue LED
Blue – has an anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effect, perfect for treating acne
Green LED
Green – improves hydration, soothing effect, reduces redness and increases melanin production
Yellow LED
Yellow – encourages lymphatic drainage and assists in detoxifying the face and body
