Chemical Peels Treatments

Offering a scientific approach to skin health

treat by chemical peels

What can chemical peels treat?

Chemical peels exfoliate the outer layers of skin through a process called chemexfoliation. A peeling agent is applied onto the skin, which instigates a controlled burn.

This process initiates the wound-healing cascade, activating the collagen remodelling process, which facilitates skin rejuvenation.

The COSMED chemical peel range, available at Oasis Wellbeing Clinic, contains active ingredient combinations, researched and developed to offer optimal results for you and your skin.

Dull Skin

For those who have rough skin with poor texture, we recommend this hydrating peel.

This gentle and natural chemical peel treatment dissolves the cells that hold the dead skin cells together, allowing them to slough off, revealing your youthful bright skin beneath! With Lactic acid to hydrate and plump the skin, smoothing lines and wrinkles.

This is a great first peel and is even suitable for those with sensitive or dry skin.

This peel can be used in conjunction with microneedling.

Downtime: none.

Derma Peel: £45 full face

Pigmentation

Surface pigmentation is lightened through increased cell turnover, with ascorbic acid and glutathione, which act as internal UV protection whilst brightening and lightening the skin.

Downtime: may include up to 5 days of dry skin.

Rosacea

Reduce erythema and ease the pain and inflammation brought on by rosacea with this peel. The antibiotic and anti inflammatory action soothes irritation, while its hydrating properties leaves much needed moisture behind strengthening the skins barrier function. The peels’ larger molecular structure means it absorbs more slowly into the skin causing less irritation. Vitamin C serum should be used post procedure for the best results, which can be purchased at the clinic.

Downtime: may include up to 5 days of dry skin.

Restore Peel: £50 full face.

Acne Prone Skin

Our acne peel treatment helps to get soul-destroying acne under control. With a unique antibiotic and anti-inflammatory action, the Mandelic Acid inhibits the growth of the bacteria responsible for acne, reduces sebum production and purges hair follicles, targeting the 3 main causes of acne. With the additional benefit of Retinaldehyde to help remodel the skin and improve damaged skin following the trauma of previous breakouts, this is a two pronged approach to acne treatment.

With an optional added application of pyruvic acid onto problem areas and lesions, the regulation of sebum and anti-microbial action of this keto-acid can make this peel combination the end of acne.

Downtime: may include up to 5 days of dry skin.

Restore Peel: £50 full face.

Fatigued Skin

Increasing cell turnover and boosting collagen, this peel leads to refined skin texture, with added vitamin A to regenerate and repair the skin.

Get the best out of your peel with prep!

Your skin deserves the best chance, and preparing your stratum corneum prior to peels will deliver the best results. With correct preparation with our products, your chemical peel will penetrate deeper, and reduce the likelihood of hyperpigmentation by suppressing the melanocyte production. This will improve the skin quality overall, reduce skin sensitivity, regulate your skins keratinocytes and melanocytes AND makes your results longer lasting.
