Which peel?

Chemical Peels have many benefits. When attending your meso chemical peel skin consultation, your skin goals will be discussed and your skin will be analysed to determine the best course of peels to achieve your desired results.

The course of peels will start with a preparatory peel, followed by a series of intermediate peels or specialised peels. We have 11 Mesopeels which provide endless peeling opportunities for all types of skin concerns, we are able to select the peel and the most appropriate concentration to graduate the scope of exfoliation, session after session, providing an exponential, customised result.

Mesopeels are formulated so that they can be combined with each other, allowing multi-layer applications in the same session or used in consecutive sessions.

Different acids have different benefits.

Different acids used in our meso chemical peels offer various benefits depending on their properties and the specific skin concerns they target.

Skin Aging

3 stages of skin aging are targeted by chemical peels offered at Oasis Wellbeing Clinic.

Stage 1 can be characterised as the early signs of aging, which typically become noticeable in our late 20s to early 30s. These signs include the appearance of fine lines, especially around the eyes (crow’s feet) and mouth, as well as minor changes in skin texture and tone. Some individuals may experience uneven pigmentation or the beginnings of age spots.

Stage 1 skin aging can be combated with Glycolic 20% Peel, Lactic 30% Peel and Mandelic 30% Peel.

Stage 2 skin aging regularly occurs in our 40s and 50s, or when more significant changes become evident. Wrinkles and lines become more pronounced, and skin may lose its firmness and elasticity. Age spots, changes in skin texture, and a decrease in collagen production are common characteristics of mid-life skin aging.

Stage 2 skin aging can be addressed with Glycolic 35% Peel and Lactic 40% Peel

Stage 3 is where aging becomes more prominent. The skin may become thinner, drier, and more fragile. Deeper wrinkles, sagging, and more prominent age spots can develop. Collagen and elastin production continue to decline, contributing to a loss of skin firmness and resilience.

Stage 3 skin aging can be improved with Modified Jessner Peel, 15% TCA Soft Peel and Glycolic Specialised 50% Peel.

Pigmentation

Skin pigmentation issues refer to conditions where the distribution and production of melanin in the skin become irregular, resulting in patches of skin that are darker or lighter than the surrounding areas.

Melasma and Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) are treated with Mandelic 40% Peel, Melanostop Tran3x Peel, or our Azelan Peel.

Sunspots (age/liver spots) and Freckles can be reduced with Mandelic 40% Peel, Melanostop Tran3x Peel, Modified Jessner Peel, Azelan Peel or 15% TCA Soft Peel.

Acne

Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when the sebaceous gland overproduces oil, which leads to hair follicles becoming clogged with oil or dead skin cells. This leads to the formation of pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, and sometimes more severe lesions, such as cysts or nodules.

Mesopeels that can control acne are Salicylic 10% Peel, Salicylic 20% Peel, Mandelic 30% Peel, Mandelic 40% Peel, Modified Jessner Peel, 15% TCA Soft Peel and in particular our Azelan Peel.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a common, chronic skin condition that primarily affects the face. It is characterised by redness, visible blood vessels (telangiectasia), and often the presence of pimples or pustules.

Lactic 30% Peel, Lactic 40% Peel and Azelan Peel help reduce redness, stop rosacea flareups and improve skin condition.

Scarring can be reduced with Glycolic 50% Peel, Salicylic 20% Peel, Azelan Peel, or 15% TCA Soft Peel.

Get the best out of your peel with prep!

You must prepare for your first peel for at least 2 weeks with Mesoestetic prep kits. This will ensure your skin is prepared for the active ingredients in our peels, it will prepare your stratum corneum prior to peels to deliver the best results. With correct preparation with our products, your chemical peel will penetrate deeper, and reduce the likelihood of hyperpigmentation by suppressing the melanocyte production. This will improve the skin quality overall, reduce skin sensitivity, regulate your skin’s keratinocytes and melanocytes AND makes your results longer lasting.
